The biggest company you’ve never heard of
Medline CEO Jim Boyle once described the company as “the biggest company you’ve never heard of.” It’s a phrase that captures something interesting about healthcare. Many of the organisations that keep hospitals running smoothly are largely invisible to the public.
Clinicians know them well. Patients rarely do.
Medline is one of those companies. Globally, our products support healthcare providers every day. In Australia and New Zealand, we are continuing to expand our presence, bringing the experience, scale and supply capability of a global healthcare company while combining it with strong local expertise and partnerships across the region.
What matters most to us is not visibility. It is listening.
Healthcare is complex, and the people delivering care face real pressures every day. Clinicians are navigating increasingly challenging situations while caring for patients with complex needs. Supply teams are balancing efficiency, safety and cost, often behind the scenes. Small improvements in how products are designed, supplied or packaged can make a meaningful difference to the people on the front line.
That is where Medline focuses its efforts.
By working closely with healthcare providers and drawing on the expertise of our clinical teams across the organisation, we aim to understand the practical challenges clinicians face every day. It is a multidisciplinary effort that brings together clinical insight, product development and supply chain capability to better support the environments where care is delivered.
Across Australia and New Zealand, we combine local knowledge with the experience, global supply network and clinical insight of a company that has worked alongside healthcare organisations around the world for decades.
You may not see our name on hospital buildings. But behind the scenes, our goal is simple: to make healthcare run better for the people delivering care and the patients they serve.
