- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and health in the workplace
- Advancing health equity in our communities and around the world
OUR PEOPLE
3 ways we support our employees

Diversity, equity and inclusion
Creating an environment where everyone can be their authentic selves and thrive.

Ongoing engagement
We listen to our employees and ensure their voices are heard.

Health and safety efforts
Emphasizing environmental health and safety and championing employee well-being.
OUR COMMUNITIES
Advancing health equity, here and around the world

Community engagement
Caring for our communities’ health and wellbeing is fundamental to our social engagement. We recognise awareness is the first step to addressing social detriments to health.
In Australia, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Cancer Council Australia advocates and raises funds to support those affected by cancer. In 2023, our team helped raise over $80,000 for education, research and family support.
Unsurprisingly, people living with cancer are the biggest users of donated blood in Australia. On average, one donation can help significantly improve the quality of 3 lives. That’s why our Medline Lifeblood Team Since July 2020, Medline employees have made 394 donations since July 2020. This equates to 1,182 lives having been helped.

Healthcare access and affordability
Much of the world lives in a clinical desert, unable to access basic care. Medline partners with nonprofits and health clinics all over the world, tapping into employee skills and expertise to create solutions that empower clinicians and communities to help people get the healthcare they deserve.
OUR SUPPLIERS
Building relationships with social enterprises
In 2023 we invited Communiteer, a social enterprise, to facilitate a Supplier Diversity Education Program for the Medline ANZ team. We are currently building a Social Procurement Preferred Supplier List to advocate for local and social procurement where appropriate.
