OUR APPROACH
Promoting sustainable practices for a better tomorrow
Climate change is a pressing healthcare issue. The healthcare industry accounts for 7% of green house gas emissions in Australia, and clinicians are seeing the effects of climate change in the patients they serve. We're building an environmentally sustainable business by investing in green technologies, conserving natural resources and limiting waste. Our priority is reducing our carbon footprint—and helping our customers do the same.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Investing in 100% renewable energy
We continue to take practical steps to improve our environmental sustainability footprint by investing in 100% renewable energy at our head office, warehouse and assembly facility in Western Sydney.
In 2024, 1,344 solar panels generated 58% of our power usage with a further 27% exported back to the grid. In 2025 we partnered with government program GreenPower to support renewable energy generation.
Water Saving & Management
An 180,000 litre water tank captures rainwater for our native landscape irrigation and for bathroom toilet flushing. Stormwater and surface water drains to an underground retention chamber for filtering before exiting to the street and river systems.

Climate action
Investing in our planet
We believe environmental sustainability relies on the good health of our planet. Through our partnership with environmental not-for-profit organization, Greenfleet, we are proud to support the restoration of native forests in Australia and New Zealand. As they grow, these forests not only sequester carbon emissions, they help fight the impacts of climate change, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.
- Medline Impact since 2019
- Over 5,000 trees planted
- Over 2,000 tonnes carbon sequestered
